ABOUT NEIL

Neil Sahota is a business guru, IBM Master Inventor, United Nations (UN) Artificial Intelligence (AI) subject matter expert, Professor at UC Irvine, and the author of “Own the AI Revolution” (McGraw-Hill, 2019).

For the past 20 years, Neil has worked with Global Fortune 500 companies and world government leaders to identify, design, implement, and realize the benefit of new products and services. Neil works to inspire clients and business partners to foster innovation and develop next generation products and solutions powered by AI.

Neil's work experience spans multiple industries including legal services, healthcare, life sciences, retail, travel and transportation, energy, and utilities, automotive, telecommunications, media, communication, and government. He is one of the few people selected for IBM's Corporate Service Corps leadership program that pairs leaders with NGOs to perform community-driven economic development projects.

Moreover, Neil works with the United Nations on the AI for Good initiative and serves as the UN’s advisor on Artificial Intelligence.

Neil partners with entrepreneurs to define their products, establish their target markets, and structure their companies. He is a member of several investor groups like the Tech Coast Angels, assists startups with investor funding, and serves as a mentor in several incubator and accelerator programs.

He actively volunteers with nonprofits for event management, fund raising, grant reviews, and site visits.
